Smash Bros Ultimate Tournament Rules 3/27 16 players -$10 venue fee -$5 cash entry fee for prize pot -Winner receives $50 cash prize, 2nd $20, 3rd $10 -If fewer than 16 players, cash removed from 3rd place, then 2nd place. Format -Single Elimination -1st round losers will form a separate challenger bracket -All losers from the 2nd round on are eliminated Other Prizes -Winner of main bracket receives 100-credit arcade card -Winner of challenger bracket receives 75-credit arcade card -All other players (both brackets) receive 20-credit arcade card Check-in, 5:30pm-6pm: Venue Check in at front counter on main floor Confirm online purchase or pay $10 venue fee Receive ticket/receipt Event check in on 2nd floor Give ticket to event coordinator at tables Give $5 cash for prize pot Give name so event coordinator can put you into the bracket Casual freeplay warmups while you wait Game Play, 6:15pm: -Randomized Brackets -1v1 -No items, no hazards, no final smashes -Games are 3 stock, 7 minutes -Rounds are best of 3 games -All characters allowed -Changing characters between games or sets is allowed -Stage selection: battlefield, small battlefield, final destination, pokemon stadium 2, town and city, smashville, hollow bastion, kalos pokémon league -Rock paper scissors (only 1) for first stage selection -Loser of first game chooses 2nd stage -Loser of second game chooses 3rd stage, if necessary Other details -Purchase tickets online ahead of time to guarantee spot -Add on 2 slices of pizza and a bottled water for $10 when purchasing online -We will have jenga, connect 4, and a deck of cards to play while you wait -We will have 4 consoles running simultaneously -You can bring your own controller, or use one of ours -Games may be livestreamed on HyperSpace social media platforms
